VCS PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

The VSC light has come on in my 06 GS 300. I am being told that i need to replace my transmission. The codes that came up were P0751, P0761, P2714 and P2757. Did anyone else experience this issue. Please help me understand what all this means. I was told i may have to replace the transmission i only have my car a little over a year.

I had my light come on. I can't remember the codes but it was my fuel rail assemble lower left side of the engine. It ran fine just the light on the console. Transmission, I'm not to sure. The people I know that own them haven't had any trouble at all with their transmissions. Second opinion might be needed. Other than that, car has been trouble free for 8 years.

What symptoms are you experiencing, e.g. driveability, etc or is it just the VSC light coming on?

Are there any other lights coming on also?

Check engine and traction light

Difficult one to diagnose without codes unfortunately....probably best to get a second opinion to make sure I guess.

I listed the code in the problem post

Sorry Walt I was referring to Johnnie2's post for codes.

Your fault codes all relate to the transmission but equally if the engine management light is on there could be a common link.

ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS FAULT BEFORE????

When my VSC light came on, I looked it up on Youtube, and the problem was my gas cap not fasten correctly.  Did the the trick!
