hisroar Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Hi all, I'm new to the forums. First off, I drive a 2007 IS 250, and I am debating whether or not to drive it up to Mammoth Mountains (in Northern California) from Southern California, about a 5 hour drive. I'm worried about whether or not it will be okay to drive around Mammoth with snow chains on my wheels. I'm fairly sure Mammoth plows their roads really well during the time I plan to go (my friend drove his Audi sedan there). I'll also get my car checked up before making the trip. I was wondering if anybody has any experience driving around in icy conditions (especially in Mammoth!), what to expect, and whether or not it's a good idea for me to take my IS 250 there. Cheers!
