PeterE
Anyone know of a work around or modification for a '96 ES300 ignition control module. From what I have seen, this is the only model with a 10 or so pin system versus the 6 pin for all other models. Difference in price is astounding. $375 vs $50. It may be time to sell car for parts. Anyone have an idea?

PeterE
Thank You so much. This is such a fluke. The seller is a relative novice and seems to have a business selling small electrical parts for Toyotas. One would have thought he/she would know the value of this used part. I am so grateful. Even though her OEM # does not match those at RockAuto It looks the same. Fingers crossed. She actually has 2 for sale. I think I'll buy the second just to be sure.
