Radio sound not working when engine turned on

LS 430 2001 - Radio and all modes totally fine when electrics on (engine off). Turn the switch to put the engine on and the radio etc stays on and no sound at all...turn off the engine to the electrics still doesnt work

Turn totally off and then back to electrics(engine off) ....sound on in all modes no problem

 

Any ideas?

Mark levinson or base System? Try pulling stereo fuses and disconnect battery to reset the system? The factory amp is a problem area to check into
