A/C not working. Can anyone help or give me tips???

I have a 1998 Lexus ES300 with a little over 350k miles. One day last summer after recharging the a/c it was working just fine then couple weeks later I noticed that it stopped working, the green light doesn't blink or anything, once I press the button the light stays on but I don't hear the fan spinning or blowing cold air. Please help!

At idle, when you turn the AC on, does the engine speed up slightly to compensate for the AC compressor load? Under the hood, looking at the AC compressor, whenthe driver turns on the AC, can you see the compressor magnetic clutch kick in?

In both cases check your owner's manual for blown AC fuses, and check out that AC relay, it may be bad (even though it usually starts the AC button flashing.
