Noticed an issue on the highway today: all of a sudden, my A/C started blowing hot air. I was driving back to Las Vegas from California (70-80 mph) when it started getting warmer in my car. I was low on gas (~30 miles to empty) when the issue started. I pulled over for gas and then when I turned the car back on, the Maintenance Required light started flashing. My car is due for an oil change in another 350 miles - not sure if that would be related to the issue?

I turned up the temperature setting on the A/C so that it wouldn't be working too hard. Eventually, the cold air started coming back through. Once I got back to Las Vegas I ran into the store and when I came out 10 minutes later, the A/C was blowing hot air again. Hoping to have this issue resolved as the weather is already getting really warm.

Maybe the AC compressor, belt, or refrigerant is low in the system.
