Will a JZA80 torsen t-2r helical LSD sc400 10 bolt Mkiv supra soarer jdm work on a 93sc400? Found one on ebay but when talking with my mechanic he said it might need shims to work properly, any feedback would ne appreciated.

Interesting question. I kind of assumed all the limited slip differentials on the 400's were the same. I know my 90 LS had posi. I don't know enough about the specific models to be of any help. Sounds like you want to put a differential from a Japan supra into a SC400?
