papacoge
I recently had a flat tire on the front passneger side tire. I bought "Gunk Puncture Seal Instant Tire Repair " and filled the tire up and it was fixed. Now when I drive over 120K the RX shakes and shimmys. I went to get the tire balanaced, and still no good. Anyone know what could be wrong?
Rx300_coach
EDIT: i would reccomend you make sure your tires are performance rated. Specific tires are MADE to go up to certain speeds etc etc. i can't remember what letter is for high speed driving...but ask ur local tire dealer
tds
Any of these seal instant tire repairs are not intended to be a permanent repair. I assume your car was not vibrating before the puncture and was vibrating after, so the Gunk that sealed your tire (temporarily) also has weight and caused your tire to go out of balance. You should have the tire removed from the rim, the Gunk removed and the tire repaired properly, then reinstalled and rebalanced.
