Hi Markb and welcome to the LOC.

I haven't heard of that particular problem. My guess is that it isn't in the head unit but a function of on-board software from SirusXM.

The cheapest way to start out trouble shooting is to call SirusXM and explain your problem. It may just be a little thing like re-initializing the receiver, much like they do when you first sign on to their service.

If it's not a XM issue try going to a local, reputable car audio shop. Since you RX is out of warranty taking it first to your Lexus dealer would really not help you much since all they can do is swap out the old unit for a new one. Expensive!
