gco
I want to know the significance of installing the L-tuned Steering ECU. It's suppose to give you a stiffer feeling in the steering, does this really work?
LEXLUTHOR
I want to know the significance of installing the L-tuned Steering ECU. It's suppose to give you a stiffer feeling in the steering, does this really work? This inquiring mind would also like to know. From a feel standpoint will this upgrade without any changes in stock suspension make any difference at all? Can the ECU upgrade be done if no suspension mods are done? TIA
MrSypher
Guys, the steering ecu upgrade is just a replacement chip.. And all it mainly does is makes your car more responsive when you turn the wheel.. Also you don't need any mod's on your car if you want it.. My 02 GS3 SportDesign came from the factory with the L-Tuned steering ecu already in it..
Neo
It depends on how sensitive you are to your steering. The ECU will not help too much at low speeds but will tighten the steering at highways speeds giving you better control/feedback.
