Spark Plugs - Ngk Vs Denzo

Recommended Posts

I just bought a set of NGK platinum for my 2000 GS400, and about to install.

I then called the dealer to verify, and they said they use Nipoon Denzos. Is there a downside to using NGK platinums? will I cause damage to my engine?

thanks.

this is awesome, yea the plugs I bought are pre-gapped, so it should be a done deal.

I guess I'll just spend a few hours figuring out the easiest way to get them in, I have a feeling that I will have trouble with 3 of them, since there are a lot of parts in the way. straight shot to most, but not all.

btw, your car looks awesome!

thanks

Can you put the Iridium's in a 93 GS 300? Will they make much difference?

yes, you can, I did in mine. I didn't really notice a difference. I did in my mazda although. The iridiums will last longer and transfer more of the voltage from the coil into spark. Don't pay the extra for the Denso's the NGK's are just as good and are cheaper. Also they are made by Denso for NGK is what everyone tells me. :o
