Oil Maint Reqd Light Keeps Coming On

Has anyone run into this problem before? After an oil change I reset the oil maint reqd light it said it was successful and right away oil maint reqd comes back on I did it four times already and it keeps coming back. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks for your help!

I suppose you could unhook the battery for 30 minutes or so. That will reset the computer. That is an extreme, but usually successful, solution to computer glitches.

After hooking it back up be sure to check the manual to see what accessories have to be reset - like sunroof, windows, radio, etc.

Did you find the hidden button somewhere under the dash that resets the light? I had to take my 2011 GS350 to the dealer and even their technician had trouble finding the button.

Aidas: Go to the info button on your Navigation Unit, then to Maintenance, Select Oil - Reset, Filter -

Reset this one also. Both of these need to be reset as they are connected to Oil Maintenance related.

Then everything is reset and you should be good to go.
