reykay Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Front right wheel makes a squeaking sound when I bear or turn right. Breaks are fine. Only happens when turning wheel (even slightly) to the right.
gbhrps Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 reykay, If its not ball joints, I'd take a look at the brakes on that side. There may not be enough freedom for one of the pads to step away from the rotor during the turn, particularly if the calipoer piston is sticking slightly. I know it sounds silly, but I've been there before. Its an easy fix to pull the pads, lube their ends and the slide pins, push the piston back in, and assemble everything back. A trip around the block will tell. Good Luck!
reykay Posted August 24, 2013 Author Posted August 24, 2013 Thanks gbhrps. I have it in the shop now for the 2nd time to see if they can find the issue. Really want to figure this out. 2002 ES300 with almost 204,000. Trying to sell it. Found an '04 ES330 with only 15,000!
