Possible Power Steering Pump

Hello : All . Recently replaced a high pressure hose on my power steering pump, which had a severe leak ! I replace fluid every 3 days. Now there is a loud noise coming from my power steering power. Car can't be driven. My mechn. "Said its air or fluid in the line, I say a bad pump ! Any imput ,would greatly be appreciate ! THANKS.

Well, air in the system is bad but fluid in the line is desirable. Now that you have repaired the leak, have you tried bleeding the air from the system?

How does the steering feel? Does it work? The air in the line can be bled out.
