Now there is a loud noise coming from my power steering power. Car can't be driven. My mechn. "Said its air or fluid in the line, I say a bad pump ! Any imput ,would greatly be appreciate ! THANKS.

Well, air in the system is bad but fluid in the line is desirable. Now that you have repaired the leak, have you tried bleeding the air from the system?
