jkp
Hello, I'm thinking to buy a 2001 LS430 with sir suspension. When I tried to test the High/Norm button, the ride height doesn't seem to change. The salesman said you can hardly notice it. Is that true? Please tell me the proper way to test the button. I just want to make sure the button & the air suspension is working properly. Thanks in advanced. Jack
JPI
Jack, You should notice a big difference when changing the ride height. Your saleman doesn't have the knowledge about his vehicle. JPI
wwest
before you change the button pick a distant point in line with the top of the hood for "sighting" and try not to move your head position while the air suspension cycles to the new height. On some cars the doors must all be closed and the engine running. Takes about 30 to 60 seconds.
