paulenka1 Posted June 6, 2012 Share Posted June 6, 2012 check engine light on, search in google,check engine light on means one or more diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) are stored in the engine control module. should i go to garage repair it or get a code scanner to clear the DTCs, if i want to get a code scanner, which tool can do 2010 lexus rx, have a chance look for the maxiscan jp701 and Professional Japanese Car u695, which tool is better? give me some suggesthions! One of the best bits of advice I read here and use, not specific to your question, was to take your Lexus to a reliable toyota mechanic or dealership to get a less expensive analysis of what your problem may be. At that point, you can also find out what kind of equipment one of these folks use & buy it or just take it to this place in the future. Good luck. I notice you are in Idaho.
