Jigga Man Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Hey Guys, I'm new to this forum and I need your help. My 04 GS300 has been overheating for the past week due to an antifreeze leak. I notice a puddle under the car in the morning and the antifreeze is depleted usually. The car also sends light smoke inside the car and recently, the smoke started coming from the underneath the hood as well. PLEASE HELP!!! :-( I'm not sure if its the heater core or something else. I hope its not the heater core cuz thats gonna run me like $800 to fix.
The G Man Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Have you check your hoses, thermostat and water pump yet?
Jigga Man Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 No...I have not. I kinda got the feeling its the heater core since its blowing the light smoke into the car and its smells like antifreeze. I am taking it to AAMCO to get it checked on Wednesday. I hope its not the heater core.
Jigga Man Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 The hoses looked fine and how do I check the thermostat?
