intrepid211 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 When we bought my son's 2003 ES300 it did not have the CD changer. My daughter bought him one for Christmas from our Lexus dealer. It kept popping out of the player until after the fifth or sixth time. It played fine for a 30 minute drive, but then it kept saying no disk and would not eject. We took the player out of the car and plugged it back in with out the metal case and it ejected. So it looks like a part is broken in the player that holds the changer in place. Any suggestions for a replacement CD player? The old one is a Pioneer model CDX-M8427ZT made in July 2002. I've looked on the web for one, but unsuccessful. Thanks, Randy South Bend, Indiana
SW03ES Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Hi Randy, This is not really an answer to your question, but the ES was not available without a CD changer. If you don't have navigation, there is a single feed internal CD changer in the dash. If you have navigation, the car should have come with a changer in the armrest. What changer did you buy?
intrepid211 Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 The changer is in the armrest. It was easy to take apart and put back together again. He is leaving to go back to school this Friday and we will change it this summer. Thanks for the reply`
