Stereo Issues

Recommended Posts

I have an 11 RX 350 12 speaker stereo and the rear seat speaker volumes are so low you can barely hear the music. The front speakers are fine but the rear are so low you don't even know that there are speakers installed. Has any one else experienced this issue?

Yes I have, thanks for responding. I adjusted the fader control to the rear and sounds like it is missing a ground or something. There is a very low sound with no tone it barely comes out of all the rear speakers but again this is turned up so load that if you adjust to the front it is almost too loud to listen to. The front speakers are much better than my 2009 RX350 but the rear not so. I have not tried any other of the new model RX's and don't want the BS from service when I discuss the problem.

I have the Lexus 12 speaker stereo system as well, although the rear is not as loud, it is certainly quite audible. It almost sounds like you have a bad ground like you said or bad wiring. Lose wiring or a bad amplifier rear channel is also possible. Although it’s unlikely that both rear channels are bad. My guess is that the fader control might not working properly.
