Passenger Door Will Not Open From Outside

i have a 1995 sc 400 and my passenger door will not open from outside, (i can unlock & open from inside.) what is the problem? i am very familiar with these door problems, i have had the rod break on my drivers door. But this time is different. can someone advise me on what i need to do? thanx

This is a common problem with the sc300s, Im pretty sure theres a diy on how to fix this on clublexus
