I CANNOT GET THE GLOVEBOX OPENED ON MY 95 LEXUS SC300. THE LATCH MECHANISM INSIDE MUST BE BROKEN. HAS ANYONE ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM? IF SO HOW DID YOU GET IT OPEN?

Hi Patrick,

This may seem obvious, but in most of these situations, the fastest and least destructive course is to use a locksmith to open the glove box door. Once inside, you can remove the defective latch and take it to your dealer to get a replacement. Might check e-bay or a wrecker yard for a second hand part.
