labsr4me
Hi all, I have a 1993 LS 400. I recently replaced the wiper blades, and when I went to turn on the wipers in the rain the other day, the driver side worked fine, but the passenger side did not budge. I'm not much of a mechanic, but would like to take a swipe at fixing it myself. If the wiper motor goes, would it affect both wipers or is there a separate motor for each blade? I have read about "locking nuts" being loose on other models of cars...could that be the case? Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Thanks for any assistance. - John M Naples, FL

Make sure the arm is in the correct position and make sure the nut is secure. It's possible the arm beneath the cowl has detached, in which case you will have to remove everything and reattach it with a new retainer.
