barbaro1 Posted October 3, 2011 Share Posted October 3, 2011 I have a 2003 RX-300 SUV with 140,000 miles. My air conditioner stopped working yesterday and only hot air is coming out the vents. I have checked that the temperature dial was in the coldest position. Also checked the fuse (#34) and it was OK. Could it be the compressor? Auto zone sells a compressor for ~$300.00. Is the compressor easy to install? do I need to take the car to the dealer for repair or any mechanic could do it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
