Please Help: I'm Buying A Ct 200H

Hi everyone!

I am buying my first Lexus here in Ontario, Canada and am very excited!

Firstly, due to the new release of the 2012 CT 200H I thought I would be able to get a deal on one of their new 2011 CT 200H. As of right now the dealer says they are identical in price. How much can I negotiate down due to it being a year old but still new?

Secondly, I am being charged a fee called FCCP + TRH, which I cannot find online and is close to $500. What is it?

Lastly, is a PDI fee of $1200 too much?

I really appreciate any help anyone can provide!

Prices and the amount of discount available to deal with, varies greatly by region, let alone country. With the CT your talking about, even though one is a model year older, because of market demands they are still probably able to ask the same price. Hybrids are always in tight inventory situations and with the earthquake damage in Japan, production has been out of synch all year long. This means that it is a sellers market.

As far as the fee's they are wanting to charge, I can't offer any help as I'm not familiar with Canadian charges. Sorry.

Also you can try to get a vehicle on Copart Auto Auction and import your vehicle to Canada. You can get a good vehicle at a lower price.

If you don't have Dealer licence you can get a vehicle with ING Solutions. These guys can also ship vehicle from copart's facility to you.
