Mp3 Plug In A 94

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Recently got an OEM am/fm cassette w/o cd from the yanker yard to return my '94 to it's original state, and replace the really crappy cheap jvc that was put in before I owned this car. Not only is it a real pia to operate, but the sound and reception are poor, and it doesn't have a mp3 plug.

So my question to those of you who may have been there is, can one of those cassette to phono jack things be used w/ the original cassette player? (I had a '97 Mercury Villager that would spit it out.)

The other option I have is to try to tap into the preamp outputs. The schematics I have with either the cd rom FSM, or the Haynes fails to help identify which wires are which.

Comments welcome.
