jgscman Posted February 21, 2004 Share Posted February 21, 2004 After 10 years of good radio reception I now get lots of static/interference only with am stations. FM continues to work great. Antenna connection appears good. Any suggestions? Is it easy to access rear of radio to check connection? Any help/thoughts appreciated. Possibly a ground gone bad or the gradual deterioration of the spark plug wires (or spark plugs themselves) now allows electrical interference to be emitted.
