st.louis.lexus300
Hey new to lexus here and the forum, I own a 1998 es 300 with a intermittant problem. As soon as the engine just starts to warm up it starts surging. The hotter the engine gets the better it runs. The surging always starts but sometimes it will go away after a compleat warm up. Also surge only happens when trying to hold gas pedal steady not tipping in it or decel., taking my foot off the gas pedal.Surging will happen at any speed and holding gas pedal steady. Thanks for any help and input. Bill

Well I would say get it serviced. Maybe spark plugs..wires...fuel injection system...etc? I don't know maybe someone else will have some idea.
