Pcv Valve/fuel Filter Replacement

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Just performed the 30,000 mile service on my 2009 GS350 AWD. All in all I changed the oil and oil filter, changed the cabin filter, the engine air filter, and changed the front brakes.

Can anyone tell me when I should change the PCV valve and fuel filter? Does anyone know where I can find instructions on how to do this myself? I was able to do the above maintenance all on my own, and was really surprised with how easy it was (did it all in 1.5 hours, going really slowly on the brake job to ensure no mistakes).

Are there any other items I have missed that will need servicing soon?

Thanks,

Chris

The PCV filter is about a $6 item. I had my dealer do it when they were doing some other stuff at 60k.

I looked but couldn't find it. Then again, didn't know what shape to look for. PCVs come in a variety of shapes and sizes and I didn't have a service manaul.

The fuel filter is in the tank....don't go there.
