1991 Ls400 Timing Marks?

Hi and welcome to the LOC.

You are fortunate in that the engine is non interference so there should be no other damage,when you say you broke the belt was it overdue for replacement?

Have a look at the 2 timing belt tutorials on the link below,there are timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and on the camshaft pulleys plus the new belt should have markings for realignment.

This is not an easy job and I would buy a CD ROM manual from ebay before beginning the work which should show all you need.

If you don't feel confident get a decent repair shop to do the job.
