99 Rx300

Whats up guys, im new to the site.... Anyways im going to look at a 99 rx300 with 75k miles on it and i was wondering what i should look out for and what sound i DONT want to here with the tranny cause ive read that the trannys in these models go out at around 70k miles or so. Thanks

There's no warning sound. It runs fine until it just stops going forward one day. Your best protection is to offer $5,000 less for the vehicle to cover the replacement cost down the line.
