Unintended Engine Acceleration While Braking To A Stop

Recently while braking and almost coming to a stop my Lexus 1995 SC400 starting surging and the rear wheels started spinning even though the brakes were being applied. The only way to get the engine to quit was to put the car in neutral. This sounds like the recent toyota issue which caused a massive recall. Has anyone had this experience and was there a fix. Computer diagnostics at the dealer found nothing wrong. thank you.

I think the only solution was to remove ones foot from the gas pedal too...

Never heard of this happening to the older Lexus'. <_<
