yank30265
my 1990 ls400 with 270K miles failed emissions again this yr; last yr I cleaned the egr valve and ports and throttle body; all were CAKED with carbon. still failed. just got a shop manual that says to check the charcol canister (where is it) and to open the egr modulator and blow out the charcoal filter in it; how do i get the modulator open as much carbon that was in the ports id say the modulator filter is probably dirty too. oh ye the nox failed way to high(no2 i think)its runnig real rough at idle id like to change the plugs and wires hope that helps out the idle. gotta get to them first; any help on any of this is welcome thank yo
