DougAy Posted July 3, 2010 Share Posted July 3, 2010 I have a 2002 SC430 that I recently purchased. It has 30000 miles on it. I stated it this morning. Idled for about 1 minute and I heard a noise under the hood. Was a deep sounding spewing noise. Opened the hood and vapor was coming from somewhere. The spewing cycled on and off several times and then stopped. By the time I got the plastic cover off the engine, it had stopped and I couldn't identify where it was coming from. It didn't have a coolant smell or a burning smell. Very little smell at all but sounded terrible. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Any ideas?
