Overheating

i got a new radiator and a new thermostat, and the water pump does not leak. the temperature guage fluckuates also... what could the problem be..?

Does the coolant stay at normal level?

Check for:

- coolant temperature sensor, located near the thermostat (in general).

- perform a pressure test

- defective radiator cap or other leak (pressuretest).

- air in the system.

- electric cooling fan; triggered by tmp sensor.

- hoses, old ones can collapse under heat.
