Side Mirrors On 2010 Gx 460

Does anyone know how to stop the side mirrors from pointing down when you put the truck in reverse?

If you were to adjust the mirrors, there's a 3-position switch- the left position is "L", the middle position is blank, and the right position is "R". If you leave this switch in the "L" or "R" positions, while in R the mirrors will fold down. If you leave this switch in the center position, the mirrors will no longer fold down in R. This is the best way i can describe it...
