walkman Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 The finish on our 2005 Es 330 is bubbling and flaking off. The dealer said there is no warranty coverage after four years. Has anyone else experienced this issue. The car is not driven for most of the winter.
walkman Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 No, the wheels are the standard 17" wheels. They come in a silver paint version and chrome is optional
SW03ES Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 I know that...but peeling of aftermarket chrome rims is very common. Thats really strange. Have you ever used any chemical wheel cleaner sprays? Do you have it washed at a carwash or do you wash it by hand?
sparkybuoy Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 I'm guessing you didn't purchase Toyota Extra Care or some kind of aftermarket warranty? You can do one of two things - you can have the tires and tire pressure sensors dismounted, take them to a powder coater and they'll bead blast the wheels and them professionally powder coat them OR look on car-part.com for used wheels in good to perfect shape
sparkybuoy Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 You can also use the keywords es300 wheels and es330 wheels on eBay and on Google use keywords es300 wheels craigslist and es330 wheels craigslist
