If someone could let me knw that would be great. thanks.
GDixon Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Hi, I am new to group I am contemplating a 2010 awd lexus 350. I am coming from a tundra p/u that gets realistic mileage of 14.8 combination driving. what can I realistically expect in combination with the 350? If someone could let me knw that would be great. thanks. My 2008 RX AWD got 28 mpg at 45 mph around Yellowstone NP. Realistically, it consistently gets 17 mpg. It all depends on driving habits. If you have to worry about mpg maybe a different car would be in order. P.S. That is about what my 2010 Tundra gets as well.
HHRP Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 in FL, I use AC rarely as it's pretty cool just having front window freeze = I get 20-22 in mixed driving now. Not a hybrid of course.
SMGinKC Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I have had my 2010 RX350 for a little over a month now. Approx. 60% of my driving is highway. Overall I am averaging 19 mpg with 22-23 mpg on my trips at 70 mph.
bptchip Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Today i got 24.5 mpg in my 2010AWD RX 350 from Victorville to Bishop, 202 miles and 8.4 Gal gas. Just over 1000 miles on it total.
Brad2 Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Here's a couple more data points. We got 27 mpg on a recent trip from IL to MA on premium, driving about 70 mph(15000 miles on 2010 RX350 AWD). On the way back we tried 87 octane and got 24 mpg. The RX's mpg calculator did a good job of matching our manual calculations of miles/gallons. This amounted to roughly a 10% difference in mpg and roughly 10% difference in the cost of fuel. Our conclusion: Might as well use premium!
