Paint Swirls

Recommended Posts

I own a 2005 RX330 which I got in Jan. It is black and looks great but whenever I was it i just doesnt look good. So I finally hand washed it and dried very well and took a good look in the sun and it looks to me like someone (possibly previous owner) got himself a buffer and had no clue what he was doing. There are really bad paint swirls i guess you would say. Is there any way to get these out and make it look good without a new paint job

What you have are very common, its caused by improper washing and/or improper buffing.

The good news is it absolutely can be corrected. What you have to decide is are you willing to invest some time and money into trying to fix them yourself or do you want to pay a professional detailer to do it?
