wayneh Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I've read a bunch of posts about this problem - after you take the key out of the ignition, you can no longer turn it once you put it back in. This is NOT about turning the wheel - this is about a bad ignition barrel. Just to reiterate - this is the post that shows the Lexus Tech Service Bulletin about this issue (May 23, 2003 EL005-03) : http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...amp;hl=ignition So here is my question: How can I get ONLY a new barrel "cut" to match my existing keys so that I don't have to have all the locks replaced on my car? (Several previous posts mentioned doing this but never say how to do it.) I'm trying not to get screwed by my dealer. THANKS!
