markolomew
No one, seems to know this answer. See what all of you can came up with: After installing a Pioneer 90bt in my 2008 IS250, my HVAC lights up but does not display text on the stereo line or the A/C line. Now the A/C and Heat do not work as well. The stock stereo was moved to the glove compartment and the HVAC plugs into it with 3 cables on the stereo, 2 cables on the back of the HVAC. I've checked the Radio fuses under the instrumental panel on the passenger side, and the drivers side, plus checked fuses under the hood. Everything good. I took it to the Lexus dealer here in town and they said it was because my stereo wasn't compatible with my car, but we all know on the forum that people do this daily and it works. After telling that to the dealer, they said they wouldn't even consider running a diagonistic on it until i took ALL aftermarket equipment AND wiring out to make it completely stock. Since I've replaced all the speakers, added 3 amps, 2 subs, and now a double din radio, i don't really want to do that if I don't have to. Attached is my dash with the HVAC lite up, but with nothing displaying. Ideas?
markolomew
the issue was in the brown and pink wires that attach to the AC Amp by the firewall and the motor. They were needing to be replaced.
