skykomish Posted September 30, 2009 Share Posted September 30, 2009 Hi Just bought a 1997 lexus sc400 with 75k miles, one owner, with all service at dealer. But after i took delivery of the car, noticed that when starting the car cold, shifting to neutral from reverse, causes a loud knock. if i let it warm up for 5 mins, no knocking. is it a sticky solenoid or dirty filter?
