1995 Model Ls400 Instrument Cluster Lights

Hi all,

I have a 1994 (1995 model year) LS400 with 110,000 KM. The car is a right hand drive. The Park, reverse and neutral cluster lights wok fine however the Drive, 3 and lower do not show. Also the Pwr indicator light no longer functions. Believe the brake light does not function with some other lights not working also. Seems the low/high beam dash lights show but the auto driving light no longer functions. I will attempt to determine what others do not function. Tach the speedo and RPM lights work fine.

The car seems to otherwise run fine. I think the temp gauge is only getting up to about 25%. Would reach a little over 50% before.

Any ideas? I assume it is not the boot hinge issue as is a UFC20 but will check it out anyway.

The cabin light seems to be dead also, but the bulb appears fine.

Seems bulb was not fine. Filament was ok but soldier at end buggered. Other light issues are OK most of the time now but play up every now and then. Not so fussed about that. Have checked all fuses and boot hinge wires, look ok. The only issue that is a real problem now is that the speedo does not register until about 25km/hr and after that is always about 25km slower than actual speed. Has caused me to fail Warrant of Fitness which is necessary to drive car legally here in NZ. Anyone got a similar speedo issue?
