Is250 Console Stain (removal Suggestions)

My wife has an '07 IS250 with a Graphite/Plastic console. She had used "body spray" in the car - the overspray that got on the console has turned the graphite color to a black spotted mess, and the clear plastic over the radio and temperature display has become clouded as a result also. I'm sure that her body spray is non-corrosive - and when she took it to the dealership, her service agent had the same problem, and had mentioned that there were numberous complaints - from female owners dealing with the same issues. Any suggestions on a treatment to get the spots out and the console back to it's original color? I believe that I can polish the clear plastic back to shape, but have no idea what to do with the spots ...
