Hey everybody, new to the forum and also a new RX400h owner (gently used 2006 for 2 weeks).

Searched thru the topics and didn't dig up this info. so I need to ask you all- do the IR headphones that are part of the rear entertainment system require batteries? One of them works (the left side) but the other does not.

Don't know if there is a troubleshooting trick or if the headset has gone dead.

Yes, they need batteries. You may also want to flip through the owner's manual (if you have one), which is full of information.
