redhawks2
I have developed some noises coming from the rear of my LS400, 1990 with 120K. Sounds like bushings going bad to me. The same kind of noise comes from the front of my old Chevy when you bounce the front end up and down. What do you think would be the most likely source of the noise? Seems to me there are a lot of rubber bushing type things in the rear suspension. The noise is most noticeable in the morning when the car is cold. After I get on the road and go over a few bumps it quiets dwon completely. I'm thinking the bushings contract from the cold and that's causing the noise. When it warms up the bushings expand and the noise stops. What do y'all think?
