Keeping Factory Sub With Aftermarket Hu?

Hey,

I'm installing an Alpine 9886 HU in my 2001 GS300. I would like to keep my stock sub working rather than replacing it (save $$). I'm told by Crutchfield I can do this through bypassing the factory amp and buying a new amp that is compatible with the factory sub's impedance and RMS.

Anyone know what the factory sub's impedance and RMS is for a 2001 GS300 (I have the standard system...not Mark Lev and no Nav)? Any recommendations on a good amp to get?
