polizeifritz
I just picked up a 99 ES300 Saturday morning and on the drive home, I noticed that the fuel gauge was bad, it reads about 1/4 full. I learned this when I went to the gas station to give her the first fill up and could barely squeeze 16 liters in. I'm just curious what the problem may be? The car is in pristine shape and I got a decent deal on it and I hate having a bad gas gauge, it is a real pain, I had this issue with my first car (Chevy Impala) but I was too broke to have it repaired. I'm excited to drive my new Lexus as it is my first deviation from GM, I have owned nothing but GM throughout my life. On a side note, I am impressed with the ride that this car provides, it handles fantastically and hugs corners like no tomorrow, it drives with every bit of precision that my Pop's brand new Benz C300 4 Matic does.
