Remove Rear Door Panel 2000 Es 300

I have located the two screws, one under the door handle, one under the window control, and I have freed all the clips around the bottom of the panel. It appears that the only thing now holding the door panel is at the door handle. I cannot remove the trim around the door handle. Advice please
