Overdrive And Rpm

i just pick up 2006 lx470 and it my first all wheel drive. when i was on free way i notice my rpm reading 3000rpm and my speed at 100 kph is this normal or my overdrive never kick. please help

Make sure OD is turned on. It should be a little black button of the left side of the gear selector.

thanks for info. i just found out that i was on gear #4 not on gear D and my suv dose not have OD button.

Yes that's my bad. I was thinking of the 98-02 models have that feature. But glad you figured it out!
