Razm Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Hi guys, I have a 99 LX470 and brake pedal stays down when I release the pedal and I have to pull it up in order to release the brake, and it makes sound from rear when disengaging the pads. Any advise? Thanks
NicLX470 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Seems as if it could be a loose or damaged caliper mounting bracket on the rear maybe causing it to stick, or a damaged brake hose that has a deteriorated lining and doesn't let the brake fluid return to the master cylinder....or could just the the master cylinder itself that is malfunctioning. I'd let a dealer check it out before you have an accident.
NicLX470 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I have a new suggestion. One or both of your front calipers are sticking and need to be replaced.
